This 1916 photo of an early Goodyear blimp was taken at the Wingfoot Lake facility. To be clear, a blimp is a non-rigid airship as opposed to a "dirigible" or a "zeppelin" which have a rigid structure. A blimp is like a ballon....non-rigid.
