Tour of Historic Akron - August 2, 2010 |

| Our tour
was arranged and directed by Jim Urban who put together a program
highlighting
36 different points of interest; mostly residences related to Stan Hywet,
the Seiberling Family, and/or other prominent Akron individuals. It was a
beautiful sunny Monday morning when we met at the Stan Hywet main parking
area. We used the Stan Hywet bus which limited the number of people to
approximately 22 total. Jim provided us with a pamphlet outlining our
itinerary which included sight-seeing stops and interior tours, as well as
lunch. It got pretty hot and muggy as the day progressed, but it was a very
interesting enjoyable day. Thank You Jim Urban! |
